Casio XW-P1 Performance Synthesizer
The Casio XW-P1 Performance Synthesizer has been especially developed for creating sounds and playing expressively in live situations. After a hiatus of just over two decades Casio has re-entered the synthesizer market with a bang. The result is a new family of synths (check out also the XW-G1) which combine a 61-note keyboard and intuitive control interface with the very latest technology in sound engine production. The heart of the XW-P1 is the newly developed Hybrid Processing Sound Source (HPSS). With this you get plenty of scope to create ear-pleasing sounds with its wide selection of preset tones. These include the Solo Synthesizer, Hex Layer and Drawbar Organ in addition to a wealth of internal PCM and Synth waves. The Solo Synthesizer reproduces the tones of traditional analog synths with access to 100 presets for dynamic use in live stage performances. The Hex Layer can overlap as many as six tonal variations to deliver a rich, powerful sound for added presence. The Drawbar Organ utilises the nine sliders to give you full range control over each drawbar. There are also 420 internal PCM tones of high-quality acoustic musical instruments from piano and guitar, to complete drum kits. The Casio XWP1 has a 13 track sequencer, a programmable arpeggiator and a phrase sequencer for recording and playing back of sounds. You can even plug in your iPod (or similar audio device) to an external input which is then routed to the sixth oscillator. This immediately becomes an additional voice to your sound arsenal. At 5.4kg the instrument is easily portable to and from gigs, and has battery power capability for added versatility. Casio XW-P1 Performance Synthesizer Deal Includes:
